Un poquito. ;n; Certainly not as much as I (along with half of my family) would like!
Forgive me, this is somewhat random but I just wanted to let you all know that I really do appreciate every single one of you! I know I have a long way to go when it comes to art but knowing that over 100 of you follow me because I managed to do something right brings me great pleasure.
… I was going to ask what you folks wanted to see more of but I draw such a random assortment of subjects that I think it’d be a silly question to ask. I may or may not take a request or two at some point so keep your ojitos peeled!
I’m profusely grateful for this message but I’m also chuckling pretty decently right now so please forgive me for that! I find your excitement adorable and a real pleasure, stranger! THANK YOU SO MUCH! HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND.
Aah! I really love receiving questions about my OCs Thank you! ;-;
Waverly is actually very silly and full of energy most of the time (she is a dancer, after all)! Despite her usually sweet demeanor, she’s rather devious when angered. I know I’ve mentioned this before but Waverly “owns” two munchkin cats and she truly believes they are her babies.
This question also gave me the opportunity to share some unshared concept (?) art of Waverly! I took great facial expression advice from another artist and though I still have a long way to go, it was indeed excellent practice. I shared one version of these that shows her with a rather neutral expression so I’m assuming that’s where the idea that she may be shy comes from, paired up with this sketch (I seriously have to stop with the neutral expressions…) but these two were not shared:
Smiling Waverly (she totally has bunny teeth because overbites are adorable to me) and smiling Waverly with somewhat longer hair!
Thank you again, kind anon! ♥
EDIT: Here’s a bigger version of the picture above! It was resized when I uploaded it and I can’t figure out how to make it bigger! Sorry ‘bout that, folks!
Here is more portrait experimentation with my musical little imp, Saymn. For those who are not aware, he’s really just my OC Zanebono wearing a magic mask. I like to think he accidentally became a cryptid.
This is yet another example what procrastination looks like. I hope to push through, improve and finish this piece very soon.
I always find peace in imagining creatures sleeping in leaves or underneath bushes. I’m more than sure I’m not alone.
My dear friend MZ’s adorable cat OC, Tilda. I secretly but not so secretly wish I was her.
I’m so glad you do! I’ll be sure to try my best to finish that second sketch! ♥
An assortment of sketches I may or may not finish, with the exception of one. The top row from left to right is Juvia Lockser, my darling MZ’s OC, Tilda (this is the one that will certainly be completed), and another human Toothiana. The bottom row from left to right is Giygas (or Giegue), my two favorite Boos, King Boo and Lady Bow, and Marie Kanker.
Oh my… Thank you so much! I love you too, gracious stranger! (｡♥‿♥｡)
As I said on my personal blog earlier, I’m rather upset about a cartoon (when am I not) and I thought drawing a quick little something would make me feel better. Here’s a half-assed Betty portrait for all my fellow AT fans currently flipping tables in anticipation.
Throws horrible art at poor followers.
I despise doing backgrounds so I tried to be cute but, of course, failed. Here we have a swooning Zane because he gets to dance with his best friend and overall favorite person.
Have a great and safe Valentine’s Day, everyone! This year, I’ll be happily spending love day with my precious kitties and puppy. ♥
Hello! No need to apologize! Thank you so much for your kindness!
To answer your question, Waverly’s mother’s family is from Seoul, Korea and her father (who is actually loosely based on one of my good friends) is from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, NY. As for Zanebono, his mother is from Zürich, Switzerland.
